I really loved this short story; even with it's inconsistency at times. I kinda wish this story was more draw out. Maybe to the maximum length of 10 chapters, but I still liked it. I truly do love your writing, my favorite being the Darkest Devotion. So riveting!

1) Did a week pass in the previous chapters? Was the bathtub sex in the new apartment?

The end of this chapter just didn't make sense... (in some aspects)

1) Harry is adamant to not reconcile with his father for the entirety of the story but then when he has the final conversation with Riddle, his opinion changes and he goes back to wanting his father in his life no matter what. WHICH IS IT?! Either he hated his father for being a shitty dad or he is trying to ignore the obvious and lie to himself about how shitty he is! I can get wanting a father-figure in his life as a child dispute how horrid James is but he has obviously grown past this (not counting the emotionally scarring that had on a child and later into adult-hood).

2) The entire conversation up until the meta-reveal of "and they were speaking Parseltongue all along! Ooo!was just... not well handled. It kinda peeved me but I can deal with this one.

3) Why was Riddle "waiting for Harry?" Is it because he's a Parselmouth? But why is this fact important? Is there some weird Parselmouth thing that he can't do without another one? Can he mate with a male Parselmouth and that mate bare children? Is there some wacky magic that makes him only able to be with a Parselmouth in some way?

Thank you for the for the chapter and for the story! It is well built even if its short. Captivating just the right way with the way you use the words. Another story that shows that stories don‘t have to be long to be good :-)
