Great story! I really like this pairing but there are so few fanfics about them. So thank you for writing this. I know it's just a one shot and it's kinda sad for Ebina but both acted in character and that's something I always appreciate

These two chapters were unneeded, but I do understand why you wrote them. On the one hand, if some things/people were not going to be included again, then they should no be included in the first place.

On the other hand, I do understand that e.g. Yui showing up was to tell us that no car accident had taken place, thus showing that the story takes another turn.

The car accident was a crucial aspect of the original story and removing it does warrant some explaination because it ties so many knots between the characters and shapes them.

I do think that you need to do something to give the reader some more information on the characters and the relationships between, but I am not sure if this was the right way to do so.

Maybe you can/should redo this? I think it can be improved, but honestly, as of now, your story lacks structure. Don't know where this is heading.

Ah yes, the girl Hachiman said he well could have fallen for. Watari did say he'd one day like to write the Ebina / Tobe story, whether that means the ship sails or something more bittersweet who knows, but you story was good.

i swear 8manxHina is the best ship. love hina's character and she didn't seem OOC in this fic. i'm kind of disappointed their relationship didn't develop much after the kyoto arc. the pairing has so much potential

I cracked up at the Fate reference there about Gilgamesh and Shirou. Now that I think about it, Yukino and Hachiman are sorta like Gilgamesh (in his youth) and Enkidu.

This is a master piece, Ebina isn't OOC at all. Even if 8man chose her over Yukino, she won't accept as she considers herself unworthy.

More importantly you've captured Miura perfectly, she will only see what she wants to and be blind to everything else.

This was really good. Can you make a fic based on this one-shot? Hina bonds with hachiman after the Service club and isshiki betray him. Something on those lines. Just an idea
