This story is gold

The sheer amount of allegory towards christian views is fucking anooying.

Aside from that, the story is good and meaningful, and how a hurt/comfort story should be written.

So, Blockbuster still runs Blüdhaven and hasn’t learned Dick’s identity yet... I’m having some very worried thoughts about a certain spider themed villainess. I hope Jason kills her.

Rereading the series. I really enjoy the social manoeuvring. Honestly want to see more of that. Interested in seeing more Zatanna especially with the whole brainwashing fiasco not having been revealed yet.

Im usely not so big a fan of drama, but your story is just perfect. The perfect combination of drama, family and angst. It just fits. No other word for it.
I especially like Bruce and Jason talking Ras death out. That was just genius. I'm not that familiar with under the red hood, or the things Jason did as Red Hood in general, but in my opinion, if those two knuckleheads would have just talked things out once, that entire mess could have gone so much better.

Im eagerly awaiting the sequel and who knows maybe I give the arrow verse a try.

After I've read this story another five or six times of course.

One hell of a final.
I absolutely love it.
Ras really had it coming. From what Jason said, no wonder, that he killed him. But now Thalia should watch out, for the rest of the league. I bet she isn't going to stay in Gotham. She loves Bruce and Damian and given by her reaction even Jason to some extent, but its simply not her live. So I guess she leaves once she is healed and takes control over the league. Maybe makes them a bit less bloodthirsty and a bit more anti-hero like Red Hood was.
I mean only killing those that really deserve it. Speaking of which, I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up killing the joker for some reason.

As for the assassins, that was one hornet nest, that Jason shook. I hope he doesn't get stung. After all, he told each and everyone of them, that he is from the future. That has to have some repercussions. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if one or two will come after him, for his future knowledge.
Speaking of which, they should really talk with the justice league. Especially green arrow. I've read a bit about Connor Hawke and I'm fairly certain, that he and Oliver haven't met yet. So maybe Jason should tell him, that he has a son.
After all, they have Dina with them at the moment. That would be a great opportunity.

So I've been following this story for quite a while now and I've definitely enjoyed it. It's nice to see some wholesome Bat family fics out there while at the same time remaining true to DC action and drama. I've never really liked Jason all that much but your interpretation of him and how he acts as Batman is really interesting and you've done well with having him as a protagonist while still giving the rest of the Bats some love.

Really looking forward to any potential sequels to this. Since Talia is now firmly free of her father's influence and renouncing the Assassin lifestyle I'm guessing that she and Bruce will be a thing? It's an interesting choice as I thought we were going for Bruce and Selina for Helena but it's a fun new direction to see where a reformed Talia and actual okay mother to Damian will go, especially if she gives Damian new brothers or sisters.

Loved this chapter. Jason being an absolute badass. Bruce being a father first and Batman last and not being all over that Jason killed someone. Can’t wait for the next chapter and hopefully any other stories that tie into this after.

Don't you dare kill Jason after all this.
His second death would tear the family apart. He brought them together, got Bruce out of his funk and got him to actually live a little.
If he dies another time it would rip a hole in their family that can't be fixed. His first death almost killed Bruce and almost brought Nightwing down with him, when he got the news. This time it would be worse, cause they are all much closer. It could actually kill them. And what about Tim, Damian and Cass?
They all have emotional problems, that Jason helps them deal with. And that doesn't even take Alfred into account. I don't want to know how he would react to the second death of his grandson. That would just be to cruel.
So please by all thats holy, make it a life-threatening injury, a crippling wound, that forces him to quit vigilante work for a while, or even forever but don't kill him.
Because even if you resurrect him in the second story, that would be a to grievous wound for the Bat-clan. Bruce couldn't take that. He would close himself complete off, stop spending time with his children, become emotionally colder and rt so push his children away and why am I even telling you all this.
Im an amateur when it comes to Bruce Wayne, I didn't read one of Batmans Comics, so I'm sure you know better what you would do to them, with Jason Todds Death.

Hope you don't mind the rant, but I really needed to say it.
I loved your story this far, and I'm really hoping for a happy end to Jasons happy live. and with that I mean at least semihappy for everyone.
