I love this story so so much and I thank you for updating. Also dont forget nana she could deal with iemitsu while reborn go takes care of the kids or she can knock them out when he shows up, or tsunas intuition goes crazy knocking him out and by extension them.

Based on some of Iemitsu's other i/stellar/i decisions and ideas of "acceptable measures" in canon, it would not be at all out of character for him to i/force/i the issue of being able to speak to his son alone. Or to use violence on his son's Elements when they react badly to his presence and try to protect their wounded Sky from an incompatible abrasive presence.
I'd honestly believe that over Tsuna managing to knock them out somehow, though if a more complete idea has spawned and is done well enough I'll be happily curious. On the one hand, Tsuna knocking them out by accident then suffering his "father" would amplify his negative perceptions and Make Things Worse. He'd be both more clingy and terrified of hurting them again, afterwards. On the other, Iemitsu hurting them even just enough to knock them out with a Trick would also Make Things Worse because he's "only there because of Tsuna" and the bullshit inevitably being spewed would make that "fact" emphasized. That one's backlash might be partially/mostly remedied by having someone as strong and trusted as Reborn back, though, turning Iemitsu into a singed bloody smear of mostly-ashes, meticulously checking over and tending His Kid and His Kid's Elements, and then settling in to be a Very Angry Guard Dragon. (Because when That Pissed and Protective, yes Dragons are what comes to mind no matter any other associations a person may usually have. Also, a Large Black Dragon wrapping himself around the nest of futon's with His Kids on it is a wonderful mental image to invoke to calm and settle the scared and wounded kids.) World's Strongest, backed by the rest of the World's Strongest, means something after all.

All the cheers for the snuggle-pile! I love how easily Kyoya just wound up cuddling a lapful of Everyone and ran with it. His Pack, and he's not letting them pull away just because they don't entirely understand Pack Things like snuggle-time. Yet. He's running with it all and poking them into compliance very gently, like he usually reserves for Small Animals. Because they are His and Not Okay and Closing Ranks. Chrome and Mukuro may not have expected the group-cuddle but they Like It, and Chrome's view of things is fun to giggle about.

I like the idea of a Regularly Scheduled Sleepover for Yuni, Byakuran, Enma, and Tsuna! They are Bosses in their own right, they can't really up and move in together long term just because they want to, but spend As Much Time As Possible together? Yes. And Such a cute image conjured by the mixture of Tsuna's excitement and his labeling of it!

(And now that the final AN has crossed my vision yet again, I can't help casually wondering how they're handling Bathroom Trips. Japan has communal bathing, I can totally see Kyoya just Expecting they'd roll with that, especially with His Pack's current assortment of Injury, but potty breaks are a little different. Also, Tsuna might lack a physical injury that needs aide but keeping him stable from his wounded Flames so far has required physical contact. Would they even let him i/try/i to make it through a potty break unaided yet? I can see him being Very Embarrassed once that issue comes up. Hell, would i/Mukuro/i end up with an escort lest he collapse and crack his skull on something? He's even worse off than Tsuna at the moment, physically. Would any of them willingly escape the Pile for their own Breaks until the absolute last possible second forcing the issue?)
(Okay now after thought I can totally see Kyoya completely unphased just scooping up one of the other boys, carrying them into the bathroom and setting them down on or next to the toilet and perhaps turning his back with a foot tapping if they waste time flailing about it. They are Hurt, they are Pack, they can manage a toilet themselves but benefit from Help getting there, no big deal to him in that mindset. Plus hovering like that instead of walking out means he can notice if they fall over or something and Help, much more quickly and effectively than he could outside the door.)

*gigglefit* Imagining the semi-involuntary Group Bath is amusing. I know the little kids do that a lot, I don't know how well the teens would fit at the Sawada-house's baths. If they don't all fit together maybe the kids will get to help again, keep Tsuna company while one other teen sticks with them to stabilise and help him. I can see both Tsuna and Mukuro getting gently bullied into accepting A Lot Of Help scrubbing down and getting put in the furo. Maybe Chrome will end up with a blanket of fog illusion wrapped around her for modesty, either due to her own shyness or Mukuro's squawking and doing it himself (which could net all of them at least some "blanketing" then while she giggles at him). That would result in a lot of fretting and crooning over all the marks all over, usually hidden by clothing, and considering Kyoya's reaction to just the ones on Mukuro he could i/see/i when he crash-landed...
Yeah the ones most obviously a sign of Forced Imprisonment, of i/being chained/i, would affect Kyoya the worst to see in his near-equal packmate and protector. But (unless the constantly-reborn-by-bullet thing wiped Tsuna's body genuinely and lastingly cleaner than it was to start) all of his little pack has Scars, most of which have origins that would be Distressing to think about when already Irked about their wellbeing and safety. Not just bothering Kyoya, either, but all of them about each other. Mukuro's probably got the most that are Very Sad, because Estraneo Lab Rat, but depending on what marks Chrome and Tsuna still have visible they could be close seconds in Sadness and who knows what Kyoya's favored fashions hide? Embarrassment for the communal nakedness (and in some cases the needing of assistance) aside, a Group Bath could easily result in a lot of gentle poking at old marks and …reacting to them. Cuddles and gentle hands and murmurs and such. It'd be a different type of Bonding that would be good for them in the long run but might be a bit overwhelming at the moment.
Yet, Mukuro, at least, will probably need the help for at least a week or more, and Tsuna would probably skip baths altogether rather than be out of reach of his Elements for a second longer than he'd have to be, both by his own preference and theirs. So ending up sharing baths would probably end up happening in one configuration or another just because they can only ignore such things for so long and neither problem is going to fade particularly quickly.

If Iemitsu causes enough havoc, maybe they'll get decamped to the Traditional Big House everyone likes to assign to the Hibari's and there will be a properly multi-person bath there for wallowing. At least it would make it harder for Unwanted Visitors to crop up - they don't know where it is. They'd bring Nana and the kids, of course, leaving them in the "compromised" house unguarded wouldn't do their nerves any favors even if being away from it themselves helps enough to move.
Or maybe someone else who Cares has access to such a place they can offer and lock down, especially with so many people coming in who want to and can Help to keep busy. Guard duty and such for some, like twitchy Arcobaleno. Blanket the whole property with compatible, protective Flames. Nana's amazingness can still only cram so many people in her house for so long.

Yeah, that fits into Ryohei's level of awareness and understanding of what was going on perfectly. I really doubt anyone had gotten around to properly explaining things to him for far too long.

Maybe Iemitsu's discordant flames make something to Tsuna's flames so they go "safe mode" (or something) and that knockout Tsuna & his elements. Maybe Iemitsu's flames always felt like sandpaper to Tsuna but his bonds soothen that feel and well he didn't told Reborn because he didn't recognize that feel or even knew what that could mean and his "torn open" bonds make that feeling worse. Iemitsu slap/hit/kick Tsuna awake and that's when Reborn arrive in all his Badass Murderly Glory

Great chapter. Love the character development in this one. Just imagining a scenario of Reborn arriving just in time to fight Iemitsu is great. But whatever you come up will be great :D Also the scene with Ryohei clears things up. Can't wait for Enma to appear.

really love the Omake cause I feel like Ryohei doesn't get enough love and out of the 3 deserters I feel like his really was just "I love u man but fighting just isn't for me" and him getting a second chance in the omake truly brings me joy!
