Can i just say I love the attention being given to Lucius? He's such an insufferable bastard in the books and films but we very rarely ever see him as a credible threat. He always has a lot of gold and a lot of ego and a loud mouth but that's usually it, folding when the going gets tough and he can't buy or talk his way out of trouble. Quite pathetic, actually. *This* Lucius, on the other hand, legitimately scares me. He's competent, he's damned intelligent and sinister in his own right, and I love that, we actually see why he was once Bella's main rival for the seat at Voldemort's right hand. A fine breath of fresh air.
