Great story! The narrative style worked well and it felt pretty atmospheric.

Their reactions to Helen returning from the grave were excellent, and I particularly liked their uneasy feeling that some dark power was fuelling her.

My favourite line was: “In our defense, she stayed dead longer.”

The description of how she returned from the Darkest Darkest was awesome. Her getting an honorific made a good ending.
