The first and second chapters were amazing, but the third is the best. I love the characterization of the OC in contrast to Shinobu and their relationship was really highlighted in the Point of View of their adorable children.

I was waiting for SI in this anime but more specifically I wanted a Demon(Oni) self-insert as a renegade demon who hunts down and stops the regular ones.

What I had in mind is a demon who has earth based powers and he can specifically sink and swim into the earth thus staying out of daylight or even turn his skin into stone thus his real skin is covered in a protective layer from the sun.

That was nice.
