My only real qualm is the fact that Gaara was one of the most powerful ninja of his generation, and the fact that he was Kazekage meant that he had to be incredibly skilled as well. It's a little hard for me to believe that he'd have issues with, well, just about anything.

You could probably switch those names around, honestly.

I’m really excited for the next chapter. I hope Gaara gets paired with Shoto and I had thought up Gaara’s hero persona before I had started reading- Desert hero, Shukaku. I don’t really know why I came up with it but I thought it’d be nice.

Love it! Hate to ask this, but ever plan on continuing this? It has a lot of potential.
Really like how you started off with something that wasn't the main story, and how you have OC characters who are actually enjoyable to read about.

Honestly, I dont think he should have a pairing for now since I feel like he's too mature for some of them. If I had to choose someone, I think that person (boy or girl or other) should be a cheerful? person to balance him out. Or someone who understands him, considering everything he has to go through in his previous world. He's still Gaara, it doesn't matter if he's a child right now, he's not mentally.

I prefer stories that dont have pairings right away and I really dont like harems so I hope that doesn't happen with this story. I would enjoy this more if it happened to be BL or no pairing at all.

I don’t think Gaara should be paired with someone who had a similar experience to him during childhood. He needs to be paired with someone who is the complete opposite of him and help him grow. Like naruto who showed him what love did he needs someone like that. So anyone with an upbeat attitude should do well for him. I personally say Nejire or Mina
