Nice take on this potential scene. The dynamic is pretty good, the banter felt very much like how it would have gone if it were included in the show, and the whole thing is a nice touch on how they've matured since Beacon. It's like watching two college friends trying to be friendly with each other after a very awkward high school experience together.

Maybe her dosing off and then falling asleep on his shoulder would be more... realistic.

Your story captured the essence in their relationship if they both have feelings for eachother, ( since not confirmed in RWBY,) I also liked how you ended it with Jaune commenting on his history of responses and things with Weiss.

Always fun to see a fic written about events that happened the day the episode aired. And yeah, they sure do have a history together. Shame the show probably won't touch on their night out. Oh well. That's what fan fiction is for!
