I like the start a lot. Lots of little changes for the books that should add up to interesting new plot points.

This is a really interesting story with a lot of potential. We have no canon indications on Daphne's character except possibly the comment about Pansy Parkinson's "gang of slytherin girls" so you definitely have author's freedom where she's concerned but one senses you're softening Hermione's first year character a bit to avoid conflict between the two of them. The scenes with professor Snape actually do work but its too bad you used the same series of challenges to Harry that was used in canon. I do hope you'll continue this piece and thank you a great deal for your hard work on it so far.

Very interesting story from Daphne's perspective. Nice first 2 chapters!

Excellent start to the story. I like how you've brought Daphne into Gryffindor - that's a unique twist! I also like how she is already bringing subtle changes in the group dynamic and how things are going. I also like how you've developed her character. She's normal, yet interesting. Nothing too far out in left field. Great job! Can't wait to see what's next!

Far far FAR too much direct copy pasting of canon dialogue.

This is great! But what i would like to see is a more competent Harry in other subjects other than DADA now that Daphne is their group, Daphne is bound to have some positive influence on Harry. I mean Ron was always lazy not in a bad way but still lazy so Harry jst sort of went with it I think just like he chose the subjects Ron chose for third year... So he was definitely not a good influence academic wise and Hermione's academic tendencies in my opinion overwhelmed Harry that he didn't try enough. Daphne I think has the perfect balance she isn't a know it all and definitely not lazy so hoping she'll be a good influence on Harry to better himself in other subjects apart from DADA even he didn't fully apply himself in it. He couldn't master silent casting in the books.. Thanks again for putting Daphne in Gryffindor this is a surprisingly freshing idea...

I'm really enjoying this story. You're doing a great job making them feel real, and rounded. Looking forward to see what you do with them, especially as we diverge more and more from canon.

This story is very good. Daphne is super amazing and awesome. It is nice to see her defending Harry and fighting back against Snape. I am eagerly waiting for the next update. Also, I am perfectly fine with this being Daphne's point of view

I did it. I read through the chapter even with the weird formatting. I never gave up from the challenge. So the story is mostly in Daphne’s POV? That’s interesting to say the least. If this is going to be a Haphne story, then I guess I’d like to know when it’ll be official. Around 4th year I suppose?
