But withdrawal from people sucks...Anyway, this story has quickly became one of my favorite which I can't help but to reread from the beginning every single time you update. I love Whitebeards and ASL fanfics, too bad there's so few. Especially a Marco and ASL center one. Don't ask me why, but for some reason, I just love seeing/reading fanfics with Marco focusing on Luffy, which is even fewer than Whitebeards and ASL fanfics. Do you have any new ideas, or would you please write another one that's papa Marco with ASL? Either way, I love your works. Can't wait to see more amazing works from you! This was such a great read! I know you still have an epilogue, but I just wanted to let you know that you are an amazing writer and that you did amazing with this story

I understand your frustration.

I distinctly remember one very excellent starting chapter for a One Piece story. Luffy was taken to be a slave, I think, and just at the end of the chapter, he returns to his village to set sail, with a mask over half his face. The whole chapter hyped me up into Oblivion and then ... nothing.

The author has like 200 stories, many of them like that. It's been 7 years I think since they uploaded.

Though to be fair, 80% of all excellent stories that make me salivate the most eventually end up like that, though usually they at least reach chapter 6 or something like that.

Yeah I can relate. I myself haven’t updated in months and decided to discontinue, incase anyone wants to adopt, so yeah.

Like I will read if I know it’s discontinued, but when there is something really interesting and a cliff hanger happened just to find out the author hasn’t updated in years, makes you wonder whether or not it will ever be finished. I understand if they have writers block, getting back into the fandom, trying to write something or in a stressful time period, but never remaining contact for years in a book they vowed to themselves that they will finish only not to say anything for years.

I mean yeah discontinues suck, but it’s better than waiting for years if no one doesn’t even know what the plot is anymore.

Aaaahhhh it's soooo gooooddddd! I love it, please continue I need to know what is going to happen next!
