I noticed your what do I do with the death star part of your intro.

Well, before it was redesigned as a weapon the death star was intended to be a planetary mining and refinery station. Blow up a otherwise useless planet into manageable chunks and then feed it into the stations onboarding refinery via tractor beams. So convert the design back to what it's original purpose and there you go. It's not like it couldn't still be used as a weapon in that state either so that function would still be available just in case.
