Amazing chapter

I have only read two of your stories but I enjoy the unique plot lines. Thank you for sharing them. However I find that in this chapter I have the same small issue I had in the other story-that as Lizzy tries to reason out and make allowances for Darcy’s addresses and behavior, I think she has gone too far in pardoning him. She may better understand his awkwardness and point of view, but at this point she has no reason to believe that he truly respects her or her feelings for her family, and I do not believe that she could accept that nor could she regret her rejection of the proposal, even if she is not proud of how she did it. I just don’t like how she seems to have completely absolved him now that she understands him better.

I anticipated before reading what was to be done with the towns people. The guest wing and dower house were my thoughts. The ballroom and family wing is surprising. All is in hand except smoke and ash persons in the ballroom. They would want a place to clean up. Maybe I missed that detail. D is in for a site upon his return.

Not much for words personally but need to compliment your story. I like E’s efforts to reconcile her feelings and am glad she has trusted her new friends. The village fire and plans to refugee to Pemberley is a novel idea. So Darcy is in Longbourn and now Lizzy at Pemberley. Very cool.
