They graduate in 1978. Their seventh year is 1977/1978. Hermione has every right to speak to Severus as she does. He showed his racist beliefs by saying what he did to her and Lily. He never stopped dreaming of being a Death Eater. The only reason he turned sides in canon was Lily. He did not care aboit the right thing to do, he did not care about hurting, torturing and killing others. He wanted to be a Death Eater.

Do I see how blatantly obvious this situation is not fair to Severus?

He was attacked. His friends were loyal. He called them the worst thing he could. He hung around with blood purists, who cursed Mary, among others, and hoped to be a Death Eater.

I haven't read the story yet, I always tend to read the reviews first to create an image of the story. Well, I cannot continue without saying that the comment of you not catching the virus was hilarious. That been said, the summary was very catchy I'm dying to see how it turns into.
