Guest chapter 6 . 3/14
Ned was able to hold his own against the Sword of the Morning for a time and yet this nobody knight bests him with ease? You can have him be an exceptional swordsman but the level of skill you've given him is better than Jaime and even Barriston.
Eberhardt chapter 6 . 2/25
Fun Fact: Jon may or may not have some form of Baratheon level super strength. There are multiple instances in the books of him performing superhuman feats of strength, such as lifting a fully grown man by the neck with a single, injured hand, or dislodging a spear of ice by himself that was noted to have taken 10 men to have done the same thing.

Guest chapter 7 . 2/16
Well, I think Jon has given House Darry something to think about and investigate.

I’ve never understood why everyone just seemed to accept that Jon is Ned’s son, when the circumstances are so suspicious with the timings. I know Ned has this supposedly honourable reputation but when you look at his actions, it’s astonishing that people don’t question why he has that reputation when his actions don’t reflect that.

I’m glad Jon has had the hypocrisy of Ned’s teachings pointed out to him, because how could Ned disapprove of such behaviour when if Jon is his son (unlikely), then Ned broke his vows and fathered Jon. Learning to question Ned’s teachings can only stand Jon in good stead, although book Jon realises that Ned and reality are two very different things.

I hope that House Darry starts making some discrete enquires about Jon and discovers the truth. There’s actually quite a lot of Targaryen loyalists still in existence and with strong forces; the Reach for example, several of the Tyrell’s largest bannermen are Targaryen supporters, the Riverlands are split, not to mention the Lords of the Narrow Sea, who are dragon to the bone and would jump ship in a heartbeat, pretty much dumping Stannis out of Dragonstone without blinking.

It’s probably why Ned of canon never sent Jon away to be fostered, he was afraid that Jon would attract support and Ned loved Robert more than his family, so wouldn’t want that.

Thanks for updating!

Ser Lorence Roxton:

This is probably my favorite chapter by far. Ser Lorence is more than just knight. He smart and take notice of the true powers that move the Realm. I have to admit, I hope Ser Lorence find more people that see Jon Snow as something of Ghost or notice his more...Targaryen features mixed with his Stark lineage. That what is interesting and I love how House Darry introduces that idea. We find out that Ser Lorence is very cautious around Little Finger and wishes to be far away from the Master of Coin. Though, his political allies seem to be with King Robert Baratheon and Lord Jon Arryn, which shows Lorence seems to have good reputation among the Stormlands and Eyrie. Ha! I love that Ser Lorence has experience a brothal and seems to have taste for Dornish/Summer Islanders taste. Though, I did love how Ser Lorance calmed himself down with his...disturbing images. What is truly interesting, is that Ser Lorance does not seem peeved/angered at a Women being the true Political/Strength of the Reach. Ser Lorence Roxton and Lady Olenna Tyrell trade barbs and yet they enjoy each other in some regards. I do love that at the BEGINNING, Ser Lorene is training Jon Snow as his squire and taking notice of his qualities. Hard working, yet still in experience. Ser Lorence wants Jon to be good a Melee and needs to remember his defense and use his offense against Ser Lorence.

Questions

1) Could Ser Lorence get some Valyrian steel to get himself some edge against more superior Knights such as Ser Garlan Tyrell, with his adventures across Westeros?

2) Should we read Jon Snow dealing with Targaryen Loyalist that notice his appearance remind them of Prince Rheagar Targaryen and troubling Jon on why some Lords/Knights seem to respect Jon, even if they hate House Stark?

3) Is a Tourney coming and Jon Snow could gain experience of a Squire duty during a Tourney, now they are in the Reach?

Suggestions

1) I probably wrote this Question/Suggestion already, but I feel like Valyrian Steel would be good for Ser Lorence Roxton. He not the best, but he not weak. He needs a edge and Wars are coming in the future. Ser Lorence Roxton will face better Knights or Warriors in combat and he will need that Valyrian Steel to survive or protect Jon Snow.

2) That would be recurring theme the Jon notice and bothers him a great deal. Jon knows his Houses and Ser Lorence Roxton is educating him on Southern Politics. Enemies of House Stark acting different around Jon, would send alarm bells off. Not to mention if these former Targaryen Loyalist have one too many cups of Wine, that these Lords or Knights take notice of how similar Jon looks to Prince Rheagar. At least, those that seen him or possible been friends with the Dragon Prince. I hope that Jon journey South as Knight, really slowly builds up to Jon discover of his true heritage.

3) That would not be such a bad idea. Jon Snow has not experience a Southern Tourney and as Squire, Jon will have duties to Ser Lorence Roxton that he has to do. Plus, Ser Lorence might sign Jon Snow up to some events that Jon can join. Archery, Jousting or Melee. Ser Lorence should try to get Jon to participate in each one and have Jon Snow learn from experience who the best and who the worst. Who trained harder and how far can Squire go in challenging certain people with more prestige lineages and deal with successes and failures.

Keep up the good work and thanks for updating!
