It's always good to see Severus feeling valued and being given respect or kindness.

Although having Hogwarts sentient and not in complete control of the head master seems kinda dangerous, like what happens if Hogwarts goes insane. Not really a fan of making it sentient.

Also I wounder if sentient Hogwarts would have any special loyalty to a Hogwarts founders living heir like Voldemort or dead heir like the Helena Ravenclaw The Grey Lady. Also thinking of ghosts Hogwarts is supposedly the most heavily haunted place in Britain so a lot of voyeurism I guess.

I'm glad you put this up. I don't think it would have disrupted the story too badly, but it's more details of an incident than a major plot point. And the morning after wouldn't have been as fun following this as a chapter.
On its own, it's funny and mostly a light moment, though with undercurrents because of the boys' distrust of each other (Remus's concern that Severus would cop a feel and Severus's growling jealousy, as examples).
I expect that I'll enjoy your other one shots and edited scenes when they appear. And really, you seem to have a good head for plot. Even professionals can find it hard to cut a scene that they loved or put tons of effort into. That's why they developed outtake reels!
