I really enjoyed the story. When I finished the last chapter I was like, "Wait. What?' I had to go back to the previous chapter because I was certain I'd missed something. Oh well. It was well written.

I really enjoyed this story all the way up to chapter 9. Sadly, this ending feels rushed to me ... you glossed over all the good angst of them coming together as a family. But I do appreciate you sharing your story.

I enjoyed the story but there’s a lot missing between chapters 8 and 9. Chapter 8 ended with his brothers going after Heath to introduce themselves and patch things up and let him know he was wanted by the family. Chapter 9 epilogue, skips all the backstory and has Heath the ranch settled in as a Barkley and been there long enough to call Victoria Mother. There’s a lot of story that could have been included. But I enjoyed it !
