Beautiful story. Love it. Ending is a bit... Other wise great.

I had a strange experience reading this story. I didn’t check the summary, and judging by the title, I genuinely thought it was a Pirate SasuSaku AU. To the point that I thought Sasuke was in a ship at the beginning (I was very confused by it XD).
Then I realised I was wrong, and I started feeling very eager to see Sakura show up. I started thinking "oh, it will be a sort of meet cute at the aquarium”. And then she actually showed up in his memories. And I instantly thought “this feels incredibly tragic for some reason”. I’m more or less writing as I read, so I don’t know if I’m right just yet. Still, everything feels unexpected in a refreshing way.
I’ve died a little with “And she smiled at him. And he lost something. Might have been his heart”. The way you phrased it made me think of old love songs that make me feel not only because of what the lyrics say, but also because they make me feel nostalgic. I had to stop for a second right after reading that. It was like seeing him fall in love right there, at that very moment.
There’s something special about the sea. I wouldn’t know how to describe it. But the way Sakura talked about it felt just right. Like it has a will of its own. It somehow feels like their bond is tied to the ocean, like the water will carry their feelings wherever they are. At the same time, when they kiss for the first time, there’s a massive contrast between the ocean and them. A sort of calm in the middle of the storm, so to say. It felt enthralling.
And oh God, I knew there was going to be something tragic. Glad they found each other at the very end but, I felt that they were going to be apart somehow. I didn’t expect a happy ending at all. But I enjoyed all of it, even when I thought this story was going to be full angst.

THAT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. i expected a first love at first sight kinda plot but it turned out to be PINING reunited lovers which is an absolute weakness of mine. & i love the fact that it was sasuke’s pov & his sufferings which isnt usual in fics :’( spare some heart maam

wow this fic was so nice, i liked the way that you made him have a flashback of her words which she had spoken to him. It is bittersweet kinda.. probably because of the lack of a decisive ending, like we know that she finds him, but she might have been married to someone else, moved on from him. It was a really nice read. thank you for writing this :D
