Your dialogue and descriptive style is great. The voice you’ve given Tiamat is perfect and he description of Riptide and it’s/her relationship/opinion of Percy is great. Riptide should be more iconic than it it. Riptide, like the Impala of the Supernatural fandom or the TARDIS for the Doctor, is such a Part of Percy. You put that into words really well. I think the only thing to improve in the story would be its pacing. I felt like there was a bit of a dead zone in the middle there. Great fic, can’t wait for the update.

Is there any timeframe for when you are going to update this?

Everyone is worried about Percy being powercrept but I'm rather optimistic. I personally look at it this way, Percy's father is Poseidon, a god equal and in most media outright more powerful than Hades who is a part of the top ten most powerful beings in existence.

Taking that into account, he should be more powerful than Vali without Divine Dividing. That's not to say Percy cant get stronger after learning to adapt to this world. Magic, Senjutsu and Touki is fair game.

I understand all this concern for the sleeping devil girl, but I would really like it if the story focused more on Percy's self-improvement, his efforts at integrating into this world, and building a power base of his own to withstand his enemies.

He should really be working on learning everything he can about this world and expanding his skill set. Yeah, he's a badass, but he can become a bigger badass by learning the unique magics of this world and figuring out what it means to be a demigod here.

And if he's concerned about the generosity of Michael and the angels, start building up his own wealth. He's the freaking son of Poseidon. Do you know how many ships have gone down in the ocean carrying billions in gold and gems, ships that still haven't been found or recovered for various reasons? I hate hearing him complain/bitch/worry about the debt he's building up by living in this swanky apartment when he could easily become stupidly wealthy via his own powers. Do something to better his situation. It really doesn't require a creative genius to think up this stuff.

The banter felt like it went on a tad too long otherwise the chapter was good.

Nice, though i have to wonder how percy compares to the "heavy hitters" in dxd, bacause even a cadre like kokabiel could destroy whole cities and a satan like serafall could destroy a small country.

Not even gonna mention mosters like sirzechs and the trimurti.

Also hope he will get together with gabriel and tiamat.
