she didn't get much better in Shippuden she was still Sasuke's biggest and absolutely most loyal fan girl to the point she even blatantly lied to Naruto's face saying she loved him just to try an save Sasuke as she was afraid the two of them might end up killing each other if they fought again and then during the war she again runs after Sasuke telling him she loves him. I really dislike Sakura she's the type who would get in a relationship with someone an then if Sasuke were to suddenly come around an want her whether it be for a relationship or for sex she'd quickly forget about the other person. Also I hate when people take the Hinata route with Sakura with having Naruto save her from bullies which never happened that was Ino who defended her from bullies while Naruto defended HINATA from 3 bullies picking on her due to her eyes and Neji's stuck up "I'm better than everyone but kami" attitude

I honestly think you're wrong about Kakashi feeling like a failure because Sasuke left. I think it was his hidden/inner pedophile being depressed that the boy he was madly in love with left him for another man lol. Honestly Kakashi didn't really show much regret that Sasuke tried to kill Naruto with the Chidori he didn't even really do anything to help Naruto with his training before he left with Jiraiya and Naruto really wasn't much stronger when he came back from that so called training

Uhm, Sakura is as much to blame as Sasuke is. All the abuse and hurtful words that Sakura threw at him would be enough to make any other living being feel worthless. Honestly with the way this story goes I could never see them being together. They might become somewhat friendly eventually, but that would be the furthest their relationship would be in my opinion.
