This fanfiction should be also marked with another genre that says drama. Alongside humor of course. While I liked this looney tunes humor, it unfortunately is off-set by the darker themes present within this fanfic. I hope that I can see more humor later on after this serious arc has been finished. Although it would be a bit realistic that toon force could be very deadly to those not already a toon. Still, best of luck and please find the right balance between looney tunes humor and the darker tones of the Naruto series.

Also, there was only 2 small mentions of Naruto in this chapter. Shouldn't he have also been trying to go after Sasuke? Was he in too much shock after learning Hiruzen would have let someone like Danzo still be alive after the Massacre? Was he wondering what else might have been hidden by Hiruzen?

I don't know where my brain was last chapter, but there are 2 things I realized just now. First, you said Danzo attempted to kill Hiruzen in his sleep. Attempt is usually only used for unsuccessful attempts at doing something. It can be used for successful attempts, but it usually implies unsuccessful. Second, Hiruzen would definitely have woken up before Danzo actually killed him, or he wouldn't have gone to sleep in the first place.. There is no way a Shinobi would live as long as Hiruzen or Danzo without having some innate sense of when they're in danger, so Hiruzen should still be alive.
