I’m pretty sure the Russian was timing the response time between something happening in the Raft and the authorities sending in the Avengers to take care of the problem. How much time between realizing something is not right, getting the call and how much time till they get there. I don’t know how Paul fits in the story, but he gives me Adrian Toomes vibes by getting fired/realizing he needs to go the dark illegal route to take care of his family. I want more of Mab and Steve though.

Oh, I knew this was coming, but poor Mab! Her conversation with Steve is so sweetthey really get each other, don’t they? Their interactions always leave me feeling warm inside. It’s like hot chocolate for the soul.

As far as foreshadowing goes, well, I think Paul is going to get involved with some group that will attempt to breach the Raft (and possibly succeed). Maybe working with some associates of Ivan or Miguel? He does need money... If the Raft gets breached, Ginny would probably be broken out as wellI don’t see the guys in the Raft leaving their “mom” behind. I could see Ginny and Mab getting on well and, if Ginny does leave the Raft, she’d need a covert place to stay.

Or maybe Paul just becomes Mab’s personal driver, who knows. The only thing I feel confident about is that, assuming Mab accompanies Steve to Alice and Bucky’s wedding, the girls are going to have some fun showing the boys beautiful sites in California.

Another great chapter, just the idea of the other Avengers trying to pick his lock to find out who he was talking to was hilarious.

I loved this chapter! I feel like we see so much more of them! I feel the heartbreak as my own of not being able to go to the speech, I have missed out on so much just because I got to sick to go. Wistful sighs lol. But I also have done lots of things I never thought I'd do as I'm sure mab will! I am hoping for that space rock weapon? Was it a sword, this brain is lagging, I'll have to go back and look lol. I think the conversation with Nat was great, I love a protective Nat, and that the team was trying to get to Steve to bug him about the phone call. The Fluff! I am in love with this story hehe!

Foreshadowing. Hmmm. Widow becomes a friend? David is found out? His fraud is found out? Steve takes her to California? He has enough and breaks everyone out of the prison? Mab helps Steve write his autobiography?

I am not even close. Not even. That's why I stopped E. Lit and moved to historyI am horrible at literary analysis.

All I know is that in could see and nearly smell every. single. moment of this chapter. It was so perfectalmost all taking place in her room in bed on the phone. Amazing. Thank you!

I love the continuous use of rain (rain is my favourite weather, after all!) and how surely Mab treats Steve like a normal man even when faced with his Avengers life! This was amazing! I love Mab! Steve and her react to each other so well. I think its great that he is learning how to be around her but he himself and deal with his issues. But also wants to take care of her. It reminds me of my relationship. Just awwww. It feels real. Which is definitely what you need for a story. It to feel real. Mab's emotions are so real to me. That just wanting to scream feeling. Or people to look at you normal as someone disabled. I loved this, I can't wait to find out what Steve will make with that million dollars.

These chapters are gifts. Man and Steve. Oh, what to say about them. Mab, both shy and forward and blunt at the same time, Steve shy but also blunt in his own way, but a poet in another. Both not entirely sure what's going on. Stubborn cusses too, the two of them. Man's meeting where she's not fires, vs Paul who was. And the repercussions that will follow. The details in the library. The librarian. The self-help books.

I could go on about this for hours. Thank you. I enjoyed every. word. As a writer and editor I can tell just how hard you workedstuff like that may flow, but it needs editing and shaping to sing! And it sings! Can't wait for more and thanks again!
