Man, I really hope there is another update coming soon. It is a story that has potential in my opinion :)

I'll bet the next chapter is gonna be like Batman V Superman. Y'know the scene where he said "Do you bleed ?"

So wait a minute... this Kaguya is the same one from Honkai Gakuen right ? that blonde girl befriend with Chloe ?

Great new chapter. I really like how you built up the world & background info, as well as the relationship between Einar and Kaguya.
The ending was hilarious too.

Hm... Got to admit, this fanfic is intriguing.

You established a background act (one that is based on the previous civilization era in which it had the Fire Moth Organization running around) that I can guess will make it a lot easier for you to set up your AU based on Einar's existence and action of the previous era.

To me, I think Einar is in a lose or lose situation to me; We got a boy (well I should call him a really old man since the guy probably lived after the world before this one been reset by Kaguya) who is torn between fighting against the Honkai to protect humanity and the people he had associated with (but I am feeling that his relationship between , Kevin, Fu Hua, and Captain Himiko, and perhaps more people in canon or OC would be a more open and true friendly relationship as time goes on), but he also wants to protect Kaguya, the girl he undoubtedly is in love with, yet is the source of the Honkai's crusade against humanity. Einar is helping the current human civilization to overcome the "trials" that Kaguya gives them, but he refrains from telling anything about Kaguya, which from a logical standpoint, is unbeneficial to humanity's survival. However, fully informing them about Kaguya's existence is the same as signing your lover's death wish. That right there, he is further alienating himself from the people that he already made a relationship with. It's one thing to refrain from revealing Kaguya's existence but is another of those around you to think that you are a traitor who is helping the enemy if this is revealed at a later time and during a time in which humanity is at their last leg. I can only imagine the guilt and stress Einar is feeling in light of his situation. Protect Humanity or protect Kaguya? And if to protect Kaguya, will Einar have to betray his friends to do it?

Top of that, this chapter covered a dreadful omen that I know will come to past soon enough; Himiko's acceptance into becoming the Herrscher of Flames. In canon, Himiko has lost control of herself and became the 7th Herrscher, and in the end, Kevin ends up killing her after he became a MANTIS to stop her (And Kevin's body became too cold to embrace the person he loves as a result). Furthermore, Himiko's core was used to make the 7th God Key - Judgement of Shamash. I wonder how in this fanfic will turn out; will Einar be able to bring Himiko back to humanity's side, will Kevin end Himiko's life just in canon, but with the added animosity from Einar and Fu Hua, or will Einar be the one to end Himiko's life instead, but earn the animosity from Fu Hua for killing her captain?

I am also excited when the 12th Herrscher will make her appearance (a young girl who was forcefully taken from her family under the terror that since she is a herrscher, she will kill them all, however, the true trap behind it is that by having her resent the humans who had not just locked her up and end up killing her, without Dr. Mei's consent, ended up creating a plague that could of wipeout the personals at the time). I can imagine Einar befriending the girl since his core mitigate the honkai energy, Kaguya's influence towards the Herrschers about Einar is usually painted in a positive light, and I can also imagine the guy against this kind of treatment towards the girl by violently objecting it at best, and breaking the girl out at worst.

Who knows and I prefer it that way. I just hope the finals past by and you get on writing the next chapter :)
