How would Raditz react to his brother's wedding? Just out of curiosity!

Pair Raditz with 18 after reading a story of the 2 being together and it was good. Just pouring out an ideal.

Really liking this story

I believe that Master Roshi has the ability to defeat Raditz in this situation. There are a few things to consider for this reasoning:

1. Goku and Raditz have an 8 year age difference. Given that he is the weakest of Vegeta's team and this is well before Z starts, even with his initial Zenkai his power level would be vastly weaker than it was at the start of the original canon. A good ball park would be between 400-500.

Raditz was a low class saiyan: average power levels for low class saiyans were below 1200. Raditz was also considered to be a coward and would instead fight what he would consider to be smart and others would consider to be a trickster.

2. Given that Master Roshi knows how strong Raditz is compared to himself, it would be plausible for him to go out of his way to step up his game and train himself to be far stronger than he was at that time in cannon.

Cannon strength was around: 120 according to the Daizenshuu 7

Given a year it wouldn't be hard for him to double his power or even get close to 300. Thus defeating Raditz would be difficult, though plausible.

3. With his defeat, we may see some of Raditz's cowardly side emerge. This could help him turn over a new leaf and become a better person compared to his current behavior.

1. Apparently Turles is the bastard son of Bardock. He could still be alive out there somewhere in the universe. If you do have Gine and Bardock speak to their sons and reveal the truth of planet Vegeta, this could be an interesting revelation.

2. Turles and Raditz did have another saiyan, Rychelo, that could be with Turles alive out there in the universe.

With this information and the knowledge that they, Goku and Raditz, would be unable to bring their parents back to life they could instead bring Turles and Rychelo to Earth. This could provide some interesting interactions between the the enstranged saiyan survivors. They could even plan how they could avenge their race and or plan for the eventual discovery of their current home.

Hope Raditz can be redeemed. It would be nice for him and Goku to meet their parents by having Baba bring them back for 24 hours, then they could learn the truth about Frieza.

I really appreciate how you're keeping Raditz in character here. Our of his group Raditz was always the schemer and manipulative one. It's good to read a fanfic that keeps that part of him intact and I'm eager to see where he goes from here
