Another wonderful chapter! I love the vignettes!

The interactions between Charlie and Tony were perfect. There is still a little bit of "telling" not "showing". For example when Charlie crossed her arms when she was uncomfortable accepting the gift from Tony/Peter, it could be written such that it would read "she crossed her arms at the thought of accepting a gift from Tony, let alone one from her brother". Once again I'm sorry for being mean! :(

The end of this chapter is heartbreaking! I hope Charlie is able to move on at some point. I love the angst but at the same time I'm dying for Charlie to be happy (if that makes sense).

I have a ton of questions about Charlie and Peter. I will also message you on your blog.
1) How did Charlie find out that Peter is Spiderman?
2) Did Peter always know she worked for the Avengers?
3) Is Charlie a part of the Avengers as a team member or more of a "support" like Sharon/Maria/Fury? 4) Does Charlie get along with Sharon?

Charlie is very upfront and kind of in your face and honest and I love that about her! I also like how you made her a sister to Peter Parker/Spiderman. I should've guessed with her last name and the foreshadowing of her little brother in the first chapter!

I also really like how you show Charlie's "current" mental state and how she isn't doing too well. It is very realistic. I like how Natasha, Steve, and Rodey keep and eye on their friend and are a wonderful support system for her!

Once again I love the flashbacks to give the reader more info about Charlie's and Sam's relationship. However, and this may be more about my personal taste than your writing style, I feel like there is a lot of "telling" instead of "showing". For example when Sam and Charlie first talk "a soft smile on his face, one of admiration as she rambles a bit." I feel that this could be written more like "a soft smile on his face which grew as she rambled on."

I'm sorry for being mean! :( I just wanted to give an honest critique.

What a heart-wrenching first chapter! I love the flashback to give the reader some background and to set up that gut punch at the end. Charlie seems to be a very compassionate and strong person, I can't wait to read more about her. "Goonie" is such a fun call sign!

omg! i can't believe that it took me this long to catch up i'm so sorry! and this chapter was so good, the imagery of may's apartment? her worry over peter? tony lying and saying it was quick and peter felt nothing? the SUIT? visions of flying with SAM? so good!

Awh Peter wanted her to have a suit! With wings! The siblings feels are real. Also lol'ed at Pepper already having a 'mom voice'. Interested to see how her relationship with Tony develops considering he basically kidnapped Peter to take him to Germany lol - I feel like that's not something Charlie's super cool with but still! Great chapter, glad I'm all caught up again.

I really like what you're doing so far with the split timeline, and Charlie seems like a very intriguing character so far. I can't wait to see what happens next!

MY HEAAAAAART! Ugh this was so emotional, I’m a mess! This was such a good chapter! Well done! And poor Charlie, she has lost just about everyone she loves, if not all of them. You write grief so well! Wonderfully sad update! A billion kudos!

Oh! Oh! The heartbreak is already evident in the introduction. Already with the feels. I do like how Steve is trying to be there for her though. And then I was doing okay reading it. I mean, I still had feels but I was holding it together...until those last two sentences. You killed me right there! haha. Thank you for writing this and taking the time to share it with us! aaaaaah poor charlie! my poor angel! i looooved the flashbacks to see how she got to be friends with sam and riley! and also the start of the falcon project? aaah! but then to contrast that with how sad she is now is just RUDE

I love how you're writing Riley! The trio of him, Charlie and Sam seem like they're going to be a fave!

It's also so interesting to see the glimpse into the future, after the snap, because I've not even really thought about that myself so I am loving reading about Charlie living through it! Also her family relationships seem interesting too - I can't wait to see her dynamic with Peter!

OMG I love this! Solid start, loved the flashbacks and seeing how her and Sam met and, even though it has made me SO SAD, I love the fact she found an engagement ring when she went back to Wakanda! Poor Sam was waiting to propose :'(

I'm also really intrigued to see more of Charlie and Steve's relationship!

Great job! I would love to see interaction between the avengers that are left. Continue the good work with the flashbacks and then changing to present because it's very intriguing.

Loved, loved, LOVED every word of this! Charlie rambling, Sam finding it cute BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW HE DID. Omg. So good. And that ending was so heartbreaking, I can feel Charlie’s grief. You are writing this so well and I loved the update! Well done!

I love it! You did a fantastic job! I love how you did the "then and now" flashbacks, but did not make it obvious you were transitioning to "flashbacks." I am so excited to see what the next chapter brings.
