This chapter didn't disappoint. It felt highly believable based on all of the previous character development, and I like how Stoick ends up feeling pride towards his son's resolve instead of hatred. I believe this is due to how much confidence Hiccup shows in his plan, something he distinctively lacked at this point in canon. It's a change for the better, for sure.

Ooh, looks like it's finally time! Here's hoping the reveal goes better than canon. Although I guess in canon it wasn't much of a reveal than a massive jump to conclusions. Eh, whatever.

Personally, id like to see more details in the fights, but that would most likely require you to go to m and that would mean most wont be able to find the story right off the back. Youve done a great job world building and I hope you'll continue after the first movie, this makes me curious how you'll handle the other creatures in form of fusions and the like. A firewurm queen, probably a fusion right? Or a general queen to hive thing?

Either way, great work so far my dude. Cant wait for the next chapter.

Another good chapter! A bit of rather major charafter development from Stoick,which is good. I never result understood why he was so againstead breaking tradition in canon even though people were dying as a result. It feels more realistic that he would choose ending the bloodshed over continuing a war for the sake of 'tradition.'

It looks like Hiccup and Astrid dodged a bullet (err, bola?) at the end. I find it funny that it was the twins that almost discovered the secret purely because of how over the top they are with their ridiculous theories.

Wonderful chapter! I'm a tad late reading the chapter, but I was in the middle of finishing up another fic. Oh well. Anyways, I enjoyed the character development shown in this chapter. It's nice to see Astrid 100% on board with Hiccup's shenanigans, and I'm curious as to whether the village will find out about their fusions at the upcoming meeting or sometime later, probably during or shortly after the Red Death fight. I'm looking foreward to more! Keep up the good work!

Alright, I gotta ask. Is some combinations have multiple limbs, and usually get larger, does that mean any thing can be added from these forms? Like we know heads can be added, and wings, and tails, so can extra stomachs or fire sacs or whatever is used to breath fire? And if so, does that mean some dragons have multiple reproduction systems?
