Josh b chapter 51 . 7/22 Loved this chapter hope u update again soon hope Jaenyx has a Maegor esc son . |
Beleriond chapter 8 . 7/24 Loving the story so far. I don't often read works that took place during the conquest, but this one certainly captures the imagination. I would love for it to end with Aegon and Rhaenys ruling Westeros while Jaenyx and Visenya conquer Essos. I even have ideas for how they could do that and organize their empire if you want to hear them. The revival of magic is also one of the things I love reading about in ASOIAF fanfics. I could also recommend a list of blood-magic themed spells if you want them. I found two systems from RPGs that work great with the magic already found in GRRM's world. PM me if you want to hear more. Great work on the story, hope to read more soon. |
Longclaw 1-6 chapter 52 . 7/24 Jae is humbled, though it's good to be reminded not to get overconfident. Unfortunately, any deeper advance into the Reach will be blocked from now on until reinforcements arrive. |
Shockeye7665 chapter 52 . 7/24 So, the dragons achieve a victory of sorts, even though it could have easily have gone very different if they weren't careful. Hmmm, that moment in which Jaenyx got VERY terrified of dying there, amidst the chaos, stuck between corpses, made me think initially of the Battle of the Bastards, when Jon Snow was being swamped by dead bodies, and almost drowning in it... Woohay, a potential appearance by House Osprey before their decline (which was described in Tales of Dunk and Egg to have happened after the Field of Fire)! I've been loving the relationship between Jaenyx, Aegon, Rhaenys (and yay, she does a good job being the sister that he never had :D) and of course, Visenya, throughout this story. Very intrigued by this turning point up north, which I guess either Rhaenys, Brandon or Visenya have made significant process in the Vale. Wonder if this will mean it'll be one step closer to obtaining the Vale, and probably, marching at full pace, probably to arrive in the nick of time at the Field of Fire. Either way, will be looking forward to seeing what happens next! |
Shockeye7665 chapter 51 . 7/22 Woohay, Visenya showing off her fledging diplomatic skills, which will be a big help to her once she becomes a Princess fully. You know, I actually can't wait to see if Rhaenys and Visenya will have ladies-in-waiting of their own once the court at King's Landing is established, and of course seeing if Rhaenys will still arrange future marriages between noble houses, like in canon (speaking of, will look forward if Jaenyx's valyrian vessels marry with the Velaryons, the Celtigars and the future House Qoherys). And since a future Stark daughter is probably coming, I'd look forward if she, as part of getting to know her betrothed, becomes a ward of the King and Queen, and has a retinue of Northern ladies accompanying her. So, with Ironoaks fallen, the Vale commanders definitely have to make a choice on which threat they'll need to face. Probably a few of them might think that Rhaenys is a threat, but the majority might overrule them and state that Visenya is the real threat. Would definitely like to see Sharra Arryn's POV, and see her viewpoint, like her motivations for going to war and her personality, like that she wants to ensure that her son has a smooth transition to becoming King when he comes to age or something like that. A few questions. For the Riverlands, since no noble house is going to process Harrenhal, will we see maybe Houses Harroway, House Towers, House Strong, House Lothston and House Whent surviving much longer and becoming bannermen to House Blackwood, due to them not possessing Harrenhal (which could still be cursed...)? And regarding the High Septon (who might not be the same one from canon, the one who recommended that the Faith not oppose the Dragons), will we see him fully in the flesh, like maybe he's a bit like Judge Claude Frollo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, with him being power-hungry and not a complete saint as many believe him to be, or will he probably despair so much after hearing about the Field of Fire that he'll pass away, thus the Most Devout will be in a crisis on choosing a new High Septon, to which the dragons might find an opportunity to bring the Faith to their side, by finding a candidate who'd encourage his followers to accept the rule of the dragons? And when House Haru gets their new keep, will it's architecture have a Yi-Ti flare (maybe inspired by Chinese and Japanese architecture), and will they have a godswood of their own, but with a cherry blossom tree? And will we see maybe, House Haru's shinobi developing a mutual respect and friendship with the Crannogmen of House Reed and their bannermen (who I expect, dress up in probably ghillie suits, given that they live in a swamp) as they work together? Anyways, looking forward to the next chapter as always. You're doing great work, and hope you're keeping safe and well! So, see you next time! |
Longclaw 1-6 chapter 51 . 7/21 Vis is being hard on herself there. Using Vhagar in a sparing, decisive way she saved many casualties. Anyway, she is my favorite character and this chapter did her solid. She’s growing into her roles as ruler and mother and it shows in her decisionmaking Wonder if Royce does believe in the Old Gods or if he’s a Seven Comvert. |
Pont1ac-Band1t chapter 50 . 7/15 This is decently written and a great idea but i just can't bare the innacuracy of this story anymore. Aegon's conquest was famously a lot easier than i think you are making it sound for dramatic effect. I don't like the fact that they are injuring the dragons. For centuries the dragons were invincible in westeros and Dorne only killed one through dumb luck and you have this giscari guy come in and now everyone is taking shots at them. |
Pont1ac-Band1t chapter 28 . 7/15 In reference to your chapter 28. PS... The way the mother says 'i am sure we can make them princes princesses and think of something' isn't equality! You don't seem to understand that so far the Taegaryans are not treating them equally. He has only just got lands. It is ridiculous. |
Pont1ac-Band1t chapter 27 . 7/15 Like the story so far and I have not yet finished reading but at the start of this character you describe subservience as something like Reek... I just think that you're totally missing the point. The whole point of the Baelarys/Taergaryan Alliance is that they are equals. Reek is a very extreme example of subservience but if i was in Jae's position then if my 'Brother' solution to me not really getting rewarded for making them rich and helping them win a war is 'These are all the keeps available. Take your pick.' It seems so far that the Taergaryans are gaining for more than House Baelarys is so far and i am just not seeing much equality. |
Guest chapter 18 . 7/13 Visenya and Jaenyx and Sharrya Arryn threesome |
Jonerys2019 chapter 50 . 7/13 Lord Reyne has some brains, it seems. Allying with the winning team |
Jonerys2019 chapter 49 . 7/13 Damn... at least Rhaenys didn't get killed this time, but it still sucked she was shot down... pregnant no less! I hope the babe is alright |
MasterOfDragonsGod chapter 50 . 7/11 Nice chapter |
C.E.W chapter 49 . 7/8 So the campaign in the Vale has only just begun. The Arryans have the advantage given their knowledge of the mountain and having the higher ground. However the Valyrians still have dragons, the only problem is now the Vale has a way to counter them, scorpions. If the Vale has it, then that means the rest of the Coalition might have them, probably arming right now. |
akramwow1 chapter 50 . 7/10 thx for the chapter |
