Gotta love flashcards. The studygroup was a brill idea. Your version of the troll incident was far more believable than canon, even though Harry and a seventh year battled it, they still got injured and it took Professor McGonagall to truly defeat it. Lovely writing per usual.

Terrific chapter. Harry really is doing well at learning magic. Draco deserved the laughing charm and hitting the wall after what he and his friends did to Harry.

wonderful! I did find myself skimming a few parts at the start that were quite similar to the original. not a bad thing I've just read them so much I struggled to focus but luckily our first introductiontoharry had me intriguedto keep reading past those few spots. otherwise a brilliant, unique and well written story. Thank you!

Up to the second chapter now.. this looks promising.

It's an interesting story so far. Your Harry develops in a credible and logical fashion. I don't think much of your Dumbledore though, he seems to be the same moral coward that he is in canon, clinging to his high-minded principles no matter what price others have to pay for them, refusing to act if it means having to get his lily-white hands dirty. Snape is Snape, a contemptible excuse for a human being no matter how you slice it. You've added some real dimensions to the supporting character cast as well. And I look very forward to Draco Malfoy eventually getting the severe and borderline terminal ass-kicking he so constantly begging for.

Really enjoyed this with real characters than sock puppets.

After having spent so much time in the hp fandom, it's tough to find new well-written fics. So finding this one was something of a surprise. I must say, I'm shocked that this story doesn't have more publicity, it's one of the best I've read in a long, long time. I sure hope that you would see this series through to the end. Well, I'll go and start book 2 then. Keep up the good work.

I’m intrigued by the book description, but I plan to wait until the series is complete before I try it out, so hopefully you do intend to do all seven years (and perhaps beyond).
