This is certainly an interesting, mostly unexplored crossover that can work. The diclonius does seem like a particular quirk that can exist in the MHA world.

I'll just throw this comment briefly, given how interesting this fanfic could potentially become...

Odds are I'd imagine if you go 'classical' in "Izuku inherits One for All", odds that his arbitary "Quirk Voice" might suffer/hear a few more alterations, if you go by long term manga Spoilers, being a thing?

As much, before you also have to ask the question. "If Toga's Quirk, let her copy a Diclonius Quirk. What are the odds/chances she's also suffered/got 'touched' by the same 'Voice', that may be Lucy?"

And above all, before one thinks of a percipient grudge Lucy/voice might have towards the world, and for Izuku & Toga. The likely additional villains that might be grabbed from Elfen Lied. From possible "UN Taskforce" thinking of an excuse to give euthanasia to Izuku (and/or perma Jail for Toga.) Or Villain's making a sales pitch for Izuku instead of Bakugo...

Well. One 'can' say if playing safer, you might alternately have Mirio be the next heir (or even a "Kohta" victim, if you go by another lens/angle.) But eh, it's the difference between a one shot, and a long term/scale story.

Sheesh...

This is a story concept I really want to see more of.

And thanks to that and the fact I've been on a Mass Effect binge again lately, now i have two series to try mixing with mass effect. A world of Quirks, and a world of Diclonius...Huh..Wow..the galaxy is NOT

And trust me I know the feeling of burning out of stories. It goes away. Try to write a bit in the morning and then in the evening if you like or try to hold it small with little One-Shots in the way.

Wao. This is an interesting One Shot. Finally Toshinori is acting like a hero. Izu-nim...Haaaa, the image...Him with Cat Ears. Can I adopt him? He is to kawaii for his own good. And Toga. Do not forget Toga. Sweet Darling. Ara, this was very good in Writing and Story. I do hope it is merely the beginning. Thanks to you, this is a wonderful start in the morning~

You know, maybe the next time you decide it's time for a new story to be made, you could throw people for a loop by doing a Dance in the Vampire Bund & My Hero Academia crossover, just for the heck of it. Mind you, this is just a stupid idea I'm throwing out, not an actual request. You can try your hand at it if it tickles your fancy, or you can outright ignore it if not. Like I said, it's just a stupid idea.
