I think an alternate ending where Sawyer Crane gets dragged through the mud and ends up in prison-along with Tucker-would be a nice touch.

Brava. Well done. The way it should have been. The character of Donna was a non-starter and lost a lot of fans. Cady as Sheriff was as believable as the Easter Bunny. You wrote the perfect story.

I hope this means that Walt and Vic are getting closer to putting this behind them, and moving on to just being able to love each other. Walt and Vic are so sweet when they cuddled together as Walt stayed awake and Vic fell back to sleep. I'm excited to see more.

I was wondering when Crane would finally confront Walt. Now I'm just wondering when this nightmare is going to be over so that Vic and Walt can finally love each other openly. I'm so invested in their relationship after all they've been through... I need more haha

I'm glad Walt admitted that he was disappointed and he really wanted the baby, and I'm glad that they are both starting to mourn. I'm not sure what Tucker is up to, but I feel like Vic's deposition is going to have her admitting to things she doesn't want anyone to know. I'm pretty emotionally invested, so I'm eager to see what happens next.

Loving every moment of this story

I completely understand Vic's mood, and I certainly understand Walt's insistence on her not being alone and taking time off work. I just feel so bad for Walt. That was his baby, too. He is probably hurting so much, but he likely feels like he can't grieve right now because he has to be there for Vic. I hope she lets him in, and they can get through it together instead of separately.

I was wondering what was going to happen since she missed the meetup with the mayor... I guess we'll find out!
