Yikes, having two male twins as heirs to the throne sounds like a recipe for disaster...you know that when they get older there are going to be people who try to get what they want by pushing the younger twin (Garin) to overthrow his elder twin. I feel dread at him only mentioning the name of one child before killing the Mountain... if I was Cersei or Tywin, I’d jump on that immediately... could be nothing... could be a whole lot of something.

I wonder if Catelyn will try to come crawling back to Robb when she learns that he is to be the Queen’s consort...it would be incredibly satisfying if Robb and his family publicly gave her the Westerosi version of the Regency “cut direct!”

I like Tywin being in a “coma,” not being killed. Still, with the way Cersei’s mind works, I’m surprised she didn’t accuse Monfrey as being the poisoned once Jaime asked about poison. He is related to Oberyn after all...even if he’s safe for now, I still think he and his household should vacate King’s Landing very soon lest Cersei get an ideas.

I just found this story and read it all the way through and I LOVE IT! There aren’t enough words to describe how much I love this story. It’s way better than how the show ended, and I’m excited for more!

Is Larra a skin changer the way that Robb and Arya are? You said that Robb and Arya can warg into birds to spy...is Larra capable of this, but just never did it while imprisoned in King’s Landing because she didn’t want to get caught with her eyes white?

Also, sorry if you’ve mentioned this before, but is the Long Night not happening in this story? I’d be okay with that...I’m more into the political intrigue and rebellion anyway! And what about Viserys and Daenerys? Did that happen the same as in canon? Because Elaena/Rhaenys may have the better claim to the throne, but I doubt Daenerys would care if she had dragons...or was she married off to Khal Drogo and not given any dragon eggs as gifts? In that case, she never would have gotten the dragons and Drogo’s khalasar would have brought her to Vaes Dothrak for her to join the dosh khaleen. And even if she tried to leave, she wouldn’t have any army because she wouldn’t have the dragons to gain her her slave army and khalasar.

But when Elaena becomes Queen, I really like her idea of destroying the Red Keep. That place has been the set of so much pain and death. Even just destroying the Iron Throne wouldn’t be enough. But once she’s Queen, is there any chance she’ll declare the Starks of Winterfell to be Princes and Princesses like in Dorne? I remember in one of her POV’s she thought about how ashamed she was that her Targaryen ancestors (Aegon the Conqueror and his sisters) had mistreated the Northerners when they conquered them. Since she has so much gratitude towards Ned Stark and Arthur Dayne for saving her life, I could see her elevating the Starks to the same level as the Martells! After all, the Dornish and the Northerners will be the ones to win her her throne. None of the other kingdoms will be able to naysay that when they’ve done nothing to help. But I’m kind of hoping that after Catelyn denting her own son because he’s a bastard, that Edmure Tully will die in the war, leaving Robb as the only male Tully heir! Elaena could legitimize him has a Tully and make him Lord Paramount of the Riverlands...and wouldn’t that be a way to punish Catelyn for denying him!

As for the Lannisters...sorry, but I’m hoping it’s sayonara to Tyrion at this point. Don’t think he can be redeemed in your story. That flash of greed in his eyes when Tywin said he’d be regent of Casterly Rock made me certain. SO: I hope that Elaena legitimizes both Myrcella and Tommen (assuming Tommen lives and Cersei doesn’t go psychotic and burn down the Sept with the Tyrells). I mean, if you think about it, Tommen and Myrcella have the purest Lannister blood there is because both of their parents were Lannisters and Tywin married his Lannister cousin. So yeah, if Tommen lives, the best way for Elaena to spit on his legacy would be for her to legitimize Tommen and have him married off to one of Oberyn’s legitimized daughters! Or if he commits suicide because of Cersei, for Elaena to legitimize Myrcella as a Lannister and have her and Trystane become rulers of the Westerlands! Either way, Martell blood ruling the Rock smells like justice to me!

Not sure about the Vale, the Stormlands, and the Reach...i think you mentioned Willas earlier so Loras isn’t the only male Tyrell...are he and Garlan in the Reach, not the capitol? I guess they’d be fine continuing ruling as long as Willas married someone loyal to Elaena. As for the Vale, do you think Lysa Arryn’s son is even Jon Arryn’s heir? Jon Arryn had blue eyes and blonde hair when he was younger, as Arryns do. Lysa has red hair and blue eyes. Sweetrobin has dark eyes and dark hair...just a thought if you want to get into that... As for the Stormlands, since there are already going to be three female rulers (Elaena, Larra, and Arianne), will she let Shireen Baratheon remain Lady Paramount?

Oh, but the best way for Elaena to get vengeance on the Lannisters and Baratheons would be to take their names away to erase their legacies! She could have Shireen take the name Durrandon, which is the name the Stormkings had before Aegon married Orys Baratheon to a female Durrandon. And she could have either Tommen or Myrcella take the name Casterly! I don’t think any of those children would really care, but you know Tywin would if they kept him alive long enough to see it happen! All he cares about is his legacy!

Sorry for the novel, just had lots of thoughts because the last time I read this it was only on chapter 5!

Ah, gotta love how that must make Tyrion squirm! As for how the Lannisters made Ned Stark and Arthur Dayne confess to treason, that was very well written. To be honest, I’m kind of surprised George Martin didn’t do that in canon.
