I really like it, Ethan’s always been my favourite character from the beginning.
How do you write so well and come up with all these great ideas?!

OOoooooh I like this. Also those Cal mentions... gonna make me cry at this rate. God, that argument between Theo and Ethan was so good and so well written - I didn't know who I agreed with more! Love this, dude.

Hi okay first of all I love how you wrote this and it really does bring this storyline to life from Ethans pov for me now. I think my favourite line is
"he dug himself into multiple deep holes, without meaning to, with absolutely everything he did." I feel like that sums up exactly what Cal would do and then Ethan would bail him out, except now Ethan is alone (cry) and is trying to be more Cal and getting himself into the same kinds of situations.
I like how it ended with lots of unanswered questions and I'm really not sure how this is going to play out in the show (just please God don't let it be a romance) but I think your writing has summed up exactly how confusing and difficult this situation is for Ethan.
As for my thoughts on the storyline, I'm yet to be sold on it. I'm holding out hope for some kind of be more Cal, carpe diem 2.0 where the Huntington's gets revisited and Ethan's involvement with Effie is purely in a friend way of 2 people with bleak outlooks supporting each other and inspiring each other to embrace the time they have. But it'll probably be nothing like that and Ethan will have a romance with a patient storyline again (sigh) and then it will queen down and he'll be back to a background character and I'll go back to praying for more screen time for him. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the writers have in store for us.
Apologies for how long this ramble (rant?) review is but I hope at least some of it makes sense lol
