You do know that the language spoken in Kanto, Johto, Hoen, and Sinnoh is Japanese, right? People from Kalos would likely speak some dialect of French. Unova, Alola, and Galar would likely be home to English speakers, with New Yorker, Hawaiian, and British dialects respectively.

At least Ash isn't being downgraded like needing to attend a trainer school... despite traveling through 6 freaking regions! They're finally touching on the Ho-oh stuff again for the first time since Battle Frontier, and there's a heavy possibility old characters could return... I'm just not a fan of this "One episode he's in Galar, the next he's in Sinnoh, then the next he's in Johto" crap. But hey, anything beats episodes centered around the school which Ash didn't even graduate from... serious waste of time.
