This is so good! The thoughts were all so appropriate and perfect and I love the Whitebeards' reactions to them! Ace's reaction was also so good to finding out Marco is his soulmate and I just loved this whole story! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

So, I almost didn't read this. I have nothing against the Marco/Ace pairing, but it's not one I seek out to read for it's own sake, and I saw the soulbond thing, but it wasn't tagged as a pairing so I though, eh, I'll try it. Holy shit am I glad I did.

I love this, so well written. I love your take on this, it's not one I've seen before. The fact that it's not necessarily romantic, or that people dont even seek each other out. I really enjoy it.

Then the interactions with Marco and Ace. I love it. It all fits so well. And the rest of the crews reaction ti Ace and how they want to include him, and how reluctant Ace is, and his reaction when he finds out who Marco really is! It's so awesome.

Well, first of all, I loved this. It was only really recently I actually started getting into the whole soulmate trope, but this fic right here encaptures all the pieces that make it as intriguing as it is. You did a great job with this idea.

Second, thank you for leaving it kind of open ended regarding romance. I don't really ship Ace and Marco (though I can understand why people would) and it was great to read this in a way that allowed me to interpret their relationship in a more platonic sense.

Also, I love the way the entire crew was so invested in Ace growing up and everything. It so great to think about them freaking out about whatever showed up on Marco's hand. And the fact that later on they actually met Ace added to scenario so perfectly. Poor Ace though, they all probably know way more about him than he'd ever want.

And picking Shanks as Luffy's soulmate was a perfect choice. Especially considering Marco has to deal with the fact that his and Shanks soulmates are connected so closely. You're right...He's going to be pretty annoying about being right.

I loved all of this. You're probably my favorite One Piece writer, and I can't wait for anything else you come up with. Anyway, great job!
