I am enjoying the emotions you have evoked throughout your story. Thank you for writing.

I have really enjoyed your story so far. There are a few issues that keep popping up.
1. There is an anachronism in your story. Your whiteboard with a pink marker does not work. Whiteboards were not prevalent in the 1980s in the United States. They did not become commonplace until the next decade.
2. AP or Advanced Placement classes are for the high or secondary school level. They help earn college credits before college. Jackie can be in honors classes at Columbia, but not AP classes.
3. Mention VHS tapes or tapes with regard to the Disney classics. There are approximately 13 Disney animated films available to be watched during this time. (This one threw me off because of the other situational errors written around them.)

I am going to keep reading this story because this chapter is a good foundation. I do not mind about relationships between the various characters as long as it is realistic.

Major "Young and Beautiful" vibes at the end there... Amazing story! Please, keep writing. :)

Please make it Jackie/Eric! I love the idea of them coming together after the S8 horror show. Both of them having been more or less outcasts of that season, obviously Eric gone for most of it. Everyone else was just so cruel. I can't understand why Jackie would go back to Hyde after the way he treated her. Both Eric and Jackie grew up in the last two years. Look at what she's accomplished! And Eric struck out on his own in Africa. I'd love to see them together.

Heartbroken that Red's in the hospital. Hoping he makes it out okay. Love Red and Kitty so much! Would love to see them interact with Jackie too.

Love Jackie making girl friends. She desperately needed them. Donna was terrible to her. Constantly belittling her, making fun of her, mocking her. I felt it was much more mean spirited than it needed to be. And she straight up ditched her in S8.
