Love awkward Clary/Alec moments. Terrific chapter, happy that Jace didn’t jump to any conclusions about the mark on her cheek...thought he might for a moment there. Wonder who the mysterious text/calls were from. Always love a Jace POV, but have to wonder if it would serve the story?

Good first chapter. I glad you decided to write again. Good luck with college, believe it or not as the years progress it gets easier. Once you declare your mayor you get to know the teachers better and learn what they like.
