cato893 chapter 1 . 10/6/2019 I think this is really interesting and well written. I'm partial to the theory that Nathalie will end up in a coma instead-she'll have to use the peacock miraculous to help Gabriel win. And the damaged miraculous is what caused Emilie to fall into the coma, because Emilie was probably the former wielder. Hmm, what do you think? |
Qoheleth chapter 1 . 10/6/2019 Dear Xycopathic: *Does* it make sense, though, really? As I recall, combining the ladybug and cat Miraculouses bestows absolute power on their joint wielder; if you have to give up something in order to exercise your power, then it's hardly absolute yet, is it? No. If they're going to have some sort of twist ending, it ought - assuming they're being consistent with their premise (hardly a given, I know) - to be some kind of situation where the mere possession of absolute power alters Hawkmoth beyond recognition before he has a chance to use it. Something like what happened to Dorini at the end of the Circle of Light series, or to Tzinacán in "The Writing of the God". ("Forty syllables, fourteen words, and I, Gabriel Agreste, would rule the lands once ruled by Charlemagne. But I know that I shall never speak those words, because I no longer remember Gabriel Agreste…") Sincerely, Qoheleth |
