You did a good job with this fan fiction AU. It was believable and it held my interest. You gave a good reason for Cable being a mess and self-destructive and Dr. Bull was a shining ray of hope for her. She was in desperate need for someone to care about her, before she went past the point of no return.
It is never smooth sailing however. Dr. Bull will need to be a presence in her life to keep her on a steady course.
Maybe he can help bring her mother and step siblings back into her life as well. It appears that they care about her, but I wonder why they couldn't locate a 17 year old who ran away from home two years ago? A private detective should have been able to help them, even if they couldn't find her on their own.
Well, looking forward to your next installment of the sequel you've started, Cable and the convention. In that, she sounds like she's gotten her attitude and sass back pretty quickly and needs to be reigned in. She doesn't realize how lucky she was to find someone who was there to help her, pull her out a huge legal problem and sponsor her in her educational goals.

I had skipped over this story. I do like this show, but didn't think I would be interested in fan fictions about it. I recently read your Cable and the convention and found it compelling enough to go back and read your origins story. So this is pre-series, when Cable was a student and Dr. Bull was younger. I do think the show is very well written and it holds my interest, but I don't know one actor from another on it or what their names are, or why the actress who plays Cable decided to leave the show. In other words, I'm not a rabid fan of Bull like I am about NCIS. Michael Weatherly has a convincingly different persona, however.
You're doing a good job on this. Since it's already completed, I will probably only review again at the end of chapter 10.

Great story! I love the interactions between Dr. Bull and Cable. I really miss her on the show, although Taylor is also a great character.

I loved this story! Would love to see Bull become a true father figure to Cable! Would he dare to discipline her if needed! Would she dare to disobey him by not doing well in school, falling back into drinking and such! Even spank her if he feels it's necessary?

Loved this ending so much, it gave me some kind of weird close. This Bull series stood out from you other stories I really liked all the chapter (not that I don’t for the others ;)). I think you should definitely start a sequel or a completely new one, where Cable already works in TAC and knows the team. Perhaps even focusing on the other members, Benny or Marissa. But I will leave this up to you, you always pleasantly surprise me with your creative stories. Keep up the good work and hope to see some more Bull fanfic!

This is such a lovely story. I can see that it is nearly at the right place to finish but I really hope that you write more stories with these characters. They have a real father/daughter vibe that you would develop beautifully.

Nahw, this was so sweet! The interaction between Bull and Cable was so heartwarming here. I’m glad that Cable decided to open up to him. I’m sad that this series is ending though. I can’t wait for the next chapter!
