Man, this caught me hard in the feels! It doesn’t help that Zane really is the Ice Emperor and the longer I think about it, the crazier it becomes in my mind! This was good. I wish people wrote more speculative stuff like this.

Gosh, this is so angsty. I love it.I can’t wait until the next few episodes come out. I’m really hoping there’s one sort of confrontation along these lines, maybe not quite as graphic, but something like this.
My one complaint is that Vex wasn’t more of a butt, but this is a really good story overall.

You are a MASTER of the action scene! Even as my heart ached for Lloyd. Even if this isn’t the way the season goes, though I admit now I kind of hope it is since it would make sense, this is an awesome oneshot! If the season goes in a different direction, I wouldn’t mind at all following this as an AU if you were to continue it! Great job!

Ah yes, the angst that you write so well. Coming in fresh off the birthday fic, this is some of the harshest whiplash I've read since your fic Juxtaposition (which I still read from time to time when I want my heart shredded).

This fic is so good. Lloyd's denial and horror is so spookily real. I love how he's trying to stop Akita and how hesitant he is to actually harm his brother, especially since it's all in vain because Zane's so far gone!

Goodness, everything about the fight and how you wrote it was perfect. Lloyd's trying so hard to reach Zane, and that bit where it almost seems to work is just awesome and soul-crushing at the same time. Also, great work with using the bold text for all his dialogue but that soft, "Lloyd?"

That was...that was great.

And that last line is killing me because of course Lloyd would blame himself. He's so wrapped up in despair, it's heartbreaking to read.

Wonderful job as usual. This is a great fic.

Honestly, this is amazing! I personally really like the idea of a showdown like this, and I like to think that Vex actually does control Zane, who is the Ice Emperor now. I really love this story, and I’m actually kind of hoping that the final fight is anywhere near as good as this would be to see!

This hit me in the feels so hard! Poor Zane. Poor Lloyd. If this happens in the show, I might actually cry. When Zane almost came back and then turned back into the Ice Emperor to completely freeze Lloyd it hurt so much. Beautifully written though. Well done.

Now I want to watch Ninjago. Hopefully Zane will be rescued soon.
