Good job! it's rare to see Middle Earth characters like Gandalf and Elrond bought to Alagaesia usually it's the other way around with shoddy OC's.

You say that another character will make a appearance? here's to it being Galadriel she is the oldest and wisest elf on Arda and most definitely in Alagaesia as far as age and wisdom go.

One thing I will complain about however is the lack of reaction to Gandalf and Elrond's age according to various sources Legolas is about 2,000 years old at the start of fellowship and he is by no means considered a old elf.

Meanwhile in Alagaesia Rhunon is about the same age and she is considered to be the oldest elf in existence so Gandalf claiming he's that old when he looks human should at least earn a eyebrow raised in reaction.

Well with this Murtaghs a lot less likely to switch sides. He's gotten along well with Gandalf and hasn't been as abrasive with Eragon, though it's not impossible depending on how Galbatorix acts. Gandalf and Elrond are gonna seriously shake things up though. Gandalf is a very experienced wizard, and Elrond has many talents, from healing, to combat to leadership. Depending on how they act, the plot could change greatly, and Elronds foresight will be invaluable. That said, LOTRs is rather vague when it comes to individuals abilities, so I can imagine you'll have quite the task trying not to contradict Canon too much. One thing that will be a big deal is having Elrond who is an elf, but not from Alagaesia, and a lot better at getting along with dwarfs and men, which will snoot out a lot of relationships. And Arya is gonna be curious as hell about middle-earth.

Wow. I did not see that coming. This might be the first time I've seen something like that in a crossover, though considering Lord of the rings, it makes sense for one of Gandalfs friends to get here. Definitely gonna throw a spanner into Canon, having both a celestial and the immortal king if high elves here, talk about outside context problem...

This is pretty well written, not many good Eragon fics unfortunately.

My goodness, this is pretty darn good. It's a shame that their are not more Inheritance Cycle cross-overs. Honestly though, great work. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Seriously though, of all the people that could have shown up its the one with controllable foresight. Galbatorix might have a serious problem on his hands.
