SPOILER ALERT! ! ! ! ! I'm about to reveal who Kaien is, but doing so reveals a fairly big plot twist in the story.

Kaien is actually Ichigo's cousin (or something) on his dad's side. So are Kukaku and Ganju, they are Kaien's siblings. If you look closely enough, you can see that Ganju and Isshin actually look a LOT alike.

SECOND SPOILER ALERT! It ties in heavily with the previous one. Isshin was a captain. He was captain of the 10th division of the Gotei 13.

I have more spoilers if you're interested, but I'm stopping here since this is the end of revealing "What the fuck is a Kaien Shiba?" There are those that think Ichigo is Kaien reincarnated, but I'm not one of them.

Pretty funny at the end, but not really in-line with Ichigo's character. He never changed his hair color for basically the reasons he said: he was too stubborn to let a bunch of stupid bullies change him and it was a connection he had to his mother.

For him to dye his hair is to contradict the character of a person so willing to stand against others opinions (like Byakuya's law and executing Rukia) and counters his feelings for his mother.

So... funny, but not to be taken seriously.

Oh boy, you're really going to realise the importance of his color to himself when you catch up in the manga.
Otherwise, really funny. Keep it up
