I always sad everytime read or watch about Longbottom, I know Frank&Alice are auror, I almost cry when see Ordo's photo in movie. Few weeks before they just can lay in bed.

This is one of the sweetest things I've read! When you sit back and think there are so many small instances in a side character's life. I had never thought how Neville must have talked to his parents about life changing events. Just telling them something, not expecting much of a reply.

i always wondered about the gum wrappers. that an essentially helpless patient was given gum to chew and the healers seemed to think this effort meant nothing. that she kept them for Neville should have sparked more effort ,
but alas if you can't wave your wand or pour potion down a throat its all hopeless.
