This was absolutely fantastic, it’s a concept I always felt was worth exploring. What happened to the Spartans families and how would they deal with reuniting? Please write more, this was very well written and I love to see more. Maybe something with Parisa finding out who John really is?

Not gonna lie, I... I got a bit sad at this. John, and all the Spartan-II's for that matter, literally had their childhood ripped away from them. It's sad, quite honestly. But you gave John a chance to see his mother and that's awesome. Well done.

You just had to make me get all teary eyed reading this. The end particularly got to me. I love it but it hurt to read. I've gotten so used to seeing the little bits of familiarity and sort of openness in your writing, so seeing a stoic John faced with his mother? That got to me pretty good. As always, your writing is excellent, so short and - in this instance - bittersweet, and it always makes me want more. Very well done, and I'm always more than ready when I see you've got something else for me to take in and then suffer from withdrawal of.
