AHHH! Took me 4 days to read the whole story and OMG, sooooo good! I wish it kept going. You had my heart in my throat with your, not so subtle, hint to their separation. I thought Kagome or Inu Yasha were going to have some horrific a accident or worse kill Inu Yasha off in a training exercise. Keep the stories coming I want to read that new one you're working on.

Just droping by to say that this is definitely my fave AU FF! I've binged on it for the past 2 days and I'm sad it's over, but i'm beyond excited that you'll make a continuation! This ff just hit me right in the feelings cuz I know how hard long distance is, but I loved everything in here!

This was a very sweet story. I loved the way Inuyasha and Kagome were written. Their personality really made the story flow. I could not put it down and finished this whopping 117k story within 24 hours. Thank you for writing.

I did feel the ending was a bit rushed. Sure, it would’ve been nice to read about them conquering their long distance struggles over the waiting period of Inuyasha coming back home. But I actually mean the Koga and Kikyo plots that you’ve set up. I agree to keep this as a summer loving/healing story. In the epilogue those two characters’ plots were fixed rather quick and I think you could’ve laid it out slower since it’s part of their summer story.

I also would’ve liked if you somehow tied the title with the ending of the story. I’m a sucker for cliches and was expecting it but it didn’t happen, oops. In the story you brought up the tradition for their unit that Navy men gave a copy of their dog tags to their significant other. I find that really cute and I would’ve love to read a scene of Inuyasha doing that with Kagome towards the end. I was probably just overthinking, it was a subtle detail in the story that I thought would come up again.

Overall I love this story very much. It was an amazing read and I want to thank you for all your hard work. I like reading completed stories and usually wait for authors to finish first before reading, but I will definitely read your A Heart’s Abduction after this. I can no longer wait after experiencing your writing. Again, thank you, apologies for this long review and I hope I was constructive. I’m not trying to flame, this story was amazing and I just wanted to give my honest opinion to the writer! Anyway, I look forward to more of your stories. Thank you again and again.
