I can't wait for conan reaction next chapter

I can't imagine Conan's expression after Ai told him.

Conan having the officers sit in the living room while he sits there and thinks of what to say before ultimately laughing to the point of wheezing is something I could totally see happening. His mom just sits there with a massive weapon casually sipping coffee and smiling at her son’s laughter. Officers are super confused one asks what’s funny. Conan replies between laughter ‘miscommunication at it’s finest’ after calming down he comes up with a lie about his family in hiding or something like that and his mom is just weird in general. She glares at him when he says that, but he casually responds with ‘I had to get it from somewhere, plus I say this because I love you.’ She just rolls her eyes before pulling Conan onto her lap and cuddling him. She goes on to explain more (of course lying) while Conan sits there reading a book in her lap, sometimes asking her how to pronounce some words (everyone does it, kids aren’t the only ones) while just enjoying being able to hang out with his mom. The officers take note of how happy and relaxed he is. At some point even falling asleep which seems to help his mom in winning over the police.

The misunderstanding in there is unbelievable. I can't wait to see Conan's reaction when he know what the police thought about his parents. that would be hilarious!

I wonder if Akai (Subaru) got involved? Since he does live in the Kudo mansion now... and what about Amuro wouldn’t Conan contact him already? Since Amuro is a PSB having ties with the police and he is also Bourbon connecting him to the BO. I can already imagine Akai and amuro getting involved then Akai dissing the Japan police for their incompetence and stupidity as Amuro turns red waiting to explode any seconds from the humiliation and shame for what the police are doing and can’t defend his beloved Japan against the disses.
