i instead of a boat fair, i wonder if 8man can escae by calling upon koishi to back him if shit goe down or if he want to escape. perhaps even getting satori to back him up if eiki or komachi becomes overbearing or anything. i wonder if these stories are more interconnected than initially though. hope there be a continuation for this particular chap

I wish I could say "poor Hachiman" here... but he was pretty much asking for it. As usual, Hachiman's worst enemy is himself.

Who is this 'everyone else'? Cause I only recall there being a handful of Hachiman x Saika fics. And they're all short rather than having a thrilling long storyline. So it stands to reason that no one actually seriously ships it or those who do don't care enough to write it. Option E by Viridian5 (on Ao3) is the best one I've read by the way. Saika confessing his love for Hachiman? What an interesting and heartwarming concept!

HachiRan failed but that's to be expected. No request from Yukari could ever be so easy and foolproof to accomplish. And Saika was much more perceptive than anyone gave him credit for. You could tell it was going downhill the moment HachiRan mistook him for a girl and considered raising Hachiman's social link with him. And the kiss was hilarious because while it did confuse Saika by being unexpected, it had no magic effect in making him forget his realization! Apparently Saika enjoyed it too if his last comment was any indication. Looks like Hachiman's dreams aren't so impossible after all!

Hoping to see a chapter with Komachi and Saika teaming up to prove Ran isn't the real Hachiman, while nobody else can see the difference.

One issue the running joke for the story is that basically everyone ne believes Hachiman is a youkai that came in from the outside this has scrapped it

Hachiman's quest to find his ideal temporary imouto,seems to be a failure, since he can't dote on Chen, she doesn't count, but worry not Hachiman, there's still plenty of sis types to meet.

Mann i cant wait for sir. Alxariam to update MoL, i want to know what genuine thing's Hachimanvs going to find in gensokyou, plus when be updates your story expands too.

Huh, this entire event was essentially a "Shaggy Dog" story. All that trouble for it to be pointless anyways.

8man's spirit would be shattered if it was Komachi that spoke and acted like that.
