Loved the Slytherin chapter

Oh God. Malfoy is becoming my favourite PoV. He's such a bundle of posh, nervous energy. The best thing is — he's not sitting and angsting around. You feel like he's actually being proactive and making progress, even if that progress is kinda muddled.

(Theo is still my favourite Slytherin though. 50% sneer, 50% smirk and 50% scowl. He's hilarious. Can I request more Theo?)

Actually I love that you've done this with *all* the characters. There's no obvious hero, no obvious villain. Just a cast of students with their own ambitions and struggles. Very Game of Thrones-y.

I like this Draco, and this portrayal of various slytherins, but since the last chapter, I've been worrying that it'll be Harry/Draco, and if I'm honest, I'm really not a fan of that. I'd keep reading, and at the end of the day it's your story, but I'm just putting it out there.

I'm gonna nitpick a little bit here - bismuth is not more dense than lead. In standard conditions, lead has a density of 11.34g/cm3 and bismuth has a density of 9.78g/cm3. Also as a Brit, if you're going to anglicise 'mom' to 'mum', then please also change 'math' to 'maths'. 'Math' kinda hurts to read in a British accent.

All in all though, another good chapter, and I do like the scientific exploration of magic that you've included. I still can't tell how the two halves of this story are going to come together, exactly, but I'm interested to find out. Thanks for another chapter!

Yay, friendship! Lavender and Hermione patching things up, and Lavender making a recovery, awesome! Can’t wait for some Yule Ball drama, though I’m sure Ron will make a better date this time. Smintheus and the visions are all quite mysterious, did she have any premonitions about the second task at all? Cover art is lovely btw.

Your Lavender is great! I really admire how you write her struggles after the First Task. She's not your typical hero and she knows it too. Her conversation with Hermione is my favourite part. I'm glad to see them start to make up.
