I like this start and I hope to see where it leads.

I realise its pretty early to make judgements about a story but I was a bit disappointed about how predictable this was. It definitely ticks all the boxes for a standard canon rehash which I suppose is fine if you like that kind of thing. Or for anyone who doesn't actually know the danmachi series.

But if you ever want to write better stories you'll need to try to be more creative. To think about how small and large changes affect the world you're rebuilding. And something like that starts from the first chapter, not the 5th or 10th or when you decide to use a non canon pairing.

Like you went to the trouble of creating an mc with the standard bloodborne origin story (although I quite liked his relationship with Gehrman) which is completely fine, it is fan fiction after all. I was just sad that all you thought to do was immediately attach him to Bell and the Loki familia. You may as well have used Bell as the mc for all the difference Bete's absence made.

I am going to fav and follow though because I love both of these fandoms

Well now, this is interesting. Mayhaps that a new Hunter's Workshop will spring up, with Bete as the Frist Hunter and Bell the newest Hunter.

The gods would want to confront him for answers and Bell’s goddess would be protective with a great one in front of her. The presence of moon and blood would be noticeable to the smarter gods.

This is awesome. I personally liked Bete and always got annoyed when people portrayed him as a brainless idiot. I'm looking forward to this story a lot.

Knowing that he likely sent a girl to die a pig and killed other hunters under the Hunter’s madness. He may see weaker and innocent adventurers with empathy. He may even yell and battle Bell to force him away from the life of death.
The plague sticks with hunters and the innocent lives they take as do the insight and Hunter’s madness that threaten one’s mind or sanity.
