I love how different their ways of speaking are as well. Steve is definitely the more friendly of the two and is very well-spoken and sweet. Herobrine, on the other hand, is more quipped, with short replies, giving the bare minimum of information. It's smart, as if he just keeps flapping his gums, he could divulge important, fatal info...

It's sad that his wounds will ache indefinitely...I'm lovin' this fic so much XD
