I thought of an nice weapon for Shujinko it is special made Chakram that will allow him to use his wind element to control it from a distance as well as make it invisible, because it will make enemies miss count how many are thrown and use them as close range weapons like Asuma's knives. Hope you like the idea keep up the great work like where your taking the story.

Very exciting spent last few days binging the series. Keep up good work.

Well, it was a good setup chapter for events to come.

First scene. Most interesting part about his was definitely's Tsunade's thoughts and possible reservations about sending Team Gai to assist Team Kakashi, with a relationship between two members, that could possibly complicate the mission.
Not to mention her own tragic experience with love and life as a shinobi. In this chapter, her age and experience really came through.
GoT has some good lines about it:
"Love is the death of duty" and "Duty is the death of love"
I have to admit though, that it could be interesting to see a situation about the other being in danger like that could play out. Like, first Shujinko could have to witness Tenten in mortal peril, then later, the other way around. Could also give some interesting point to their development as characters as well as their relationship. How would each character handle it, and what would their thoughts about the other possibly dying, possibly on a shared battlefield, be? Could be very interesting indeed.
Got a little smile about her being a good user of the Shadow Clones, but still preferring to truly critical ones herself... and got a good laugh about her little backfire episode with the Shadow Clone while nursing a hangover XD

Scene two... to be honest, not quite sure what the point of that scene was... perhaps to give some interaction between Akatsuki members and to show that not even Deidara would want to mess with Pain and his Rinnegan... LOL, for some reason I now imagine Hidan trying to take on Pain XD

Nothing to say to scene three.

Scene four: Most interesting part, definitely the flashback between Shujinko and Temari.
Really interesting to see some of Shujinko's deeper thoughts about Gaara and his relation to Naruto... both in how they are the same, and yet differ so much.
Eh, minor typo: "Just because you're Naruto's friend doesn't mean you understand his entire life, the same way I can't entirely understand Gaara's life just because I'm her sister" Because I'm his sister XD
*She had no idea her older brother was currently strapped to a hospital bed, barely conscious and fighting just to stay alive.*
*insert sound from big, loud, rex buzzer* Wrong XD Temari is the oldest of the three XD

Scene five. Hehehe, always kinda cracks up when that old lady takes the stage. Despite the tragedy of her as a character, her "pranks" are so bad they are funny XD
But the part with them all sitting outsight the operation room showed a very clear detail of war, both in the shinobi world and in our world.
Those who are regarded as heroes by some are regarded as villains by others. And honestly, neither side is actually right, nor wrong. War heroes are, with some exceptions, I don't know, made on the cost of the lives of other heroes. A hero is made on the cost of another's father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, other family, friends.
Which you highlighted perfectly here... that, and Naruto and Shujinko's youth... they have thankfully never truly experienced war and the consequences... they saw a bit of it during the invansion, but never a full-scale war.
A bit funny that Shujinko wouldn't have heard/read about the White Fang, but no matter.

Interesting reunions to say the least. Can definitely understand both Baki and Renjiro's reactions to seeing Shujinko again...
kinda looking forward to the reunion talk between Renjiro and Shujinko.
"Hey, long time no see. We tried bashing each's others heads in"
Well, Renjiro definitely got the worst of it. I'm guessing he didn't get treatment for his injuries soon enough, or, just as likely or maybe a combination of the two, Suna doesn't have a medic-nin of Sakura or Tsunade's skill (more than likely.)
Can definitely understand if Renjiro is shocked, non-too-happy about Shujinko again... he probably has nightmares about that day.

Anyways, good setup chapter and looking forward to more :)
